How It's Calculated
The income requirement for Spain's Digital Nomad Visa (DNV/UGE) is based on Spain's Salario Mínimo Interprofesional (SMI) - the national minimum wage.
Main Applicant
Must demonstrate income of at least 200% of SMI (twice the minimum wage).
First Dependent
Add 75% of SMI for your first family member (spouse or child).
Additional Dependents
Add 25% of SMI for each additional family member after the first.
Important Note
These are minimum requirements. Having higher income strengthens your application. Some consulates may have slightly different interpretations. Always verify with your attorney or the specific consulate handling your application.
